Current Obsessions

I have been loving so many new products lately, so I wanted to make a post and share them! We have hair care, exciting new makeup and the perfect summer pants. Let’s dive into my current obsessions!

So, I’ve been taking my hair care more seriously these days. I have my skincare and makeup routines down and now I want a hair routine to tie it all together.

Ouai is a brand that’s been on my wish list for a while now, so I decided to give them a try. My hair gets occasional buildup and that’s exactly what the Detox Shampoo is supposed to help with. This stuff is great! It smells amazing, you don’t need a lot to get a good lather, and I definitely see a difference in buildup. $30 does seem steep for a bottle of shampoo, but I believe you get what you pay for. Plus, their brand message and values are something I don’t mind supporting!

Another hair item I became obsessed with are these Invisibobble hair ties! Why didn’t anyone tell me about these?! These are so easy on the hair and they hold everything in place. I bought the pack that has the clear and black rings and I’m so glad I did. Both colors blend in well but the clear is my favorite as it’s almost unnoticeable.

Makeup & Skincare

Onto makeup, the Anastasia Beverly Hills brow freeze is everything. I’ve always had unevenly shaped brows, so filling them in was always a long, tedious process. The Brow Freeze basically cuts that process in half! I use the brow freeze to comb my hairs up and lay them flat, making them look fluffy and honestly, a tiny bit crazy. Then, I use my brow pencil to lightly fill in any sparse areas and areas that need a bit more structure. After my brows are filled in, I go back in with the brush I used for the brow freeze and smooth down any hairs that are sticking up. It allows me to use less of my brow pencil and embrace my natural brow shape. I can’t get enough!

Like I mentioned, I have my skincare routine down, but I have been missing an eye cream. Almost every eye cream I’ve tried moisturizes my under eyes, but I need something to help these dark circles! Late nights with a 6 month old are REALLY starting to show. I picked up the Origins Refreshing Eye Cream at the Sephora VIB sale and fell in love from the first application! What makes this eye cream special is the pinkish hue, which helps cancel out any blue tones under the eye. It’s a very moisturizing, glowy eye cream that you don’t need to pack on to get that wide-awake look. I love this stuff! I use it every morning and night. It makes me feel a lot better about the deep bags under my eyes!

Spring Clothing

Let’s talk spring clothing! These pants from Zara have been all over Instagram so I had to order a pair for myself! At first I ordered a size medium and could not get them passed my thighs (I’m a size 10 for reference). I exchanged them for a large and the large fits perfectly. The shape is so flattering! They come in a ton of different colors, and I plan on picking a few pairs up. I’m going to be wearing them all spring and summer!

If you read my Fashion Finds post, you’ll know that I was eyeing these sandals from H&M. They did not disappoint! They’re so comfortable and very on trend for this year. In the picture above I paired them with a black bodysuit and light denim jeans. These look great with simple outfits but can be dressed up or down. They’ll add unique detail to any outfit!
